Vote Paula Brummel in the September 9th Primary
“Attorneys advocate for the interests of their client, whether they agree or disagree with their client’s goals. Their responsibility to do so is clear, so the path is set out and easy to follow. A judge’s path is more difficult because a judge is not an advocate for one individual but is rather the community’s judicial decision maker.
A judge must keep an open mind when considering the matters before her. It is only after she has listened to the arguments of the parties and considered the law that she will know the right path to take. I believe that my experience as an advocate, in addition to my life experience, has prepared me to successfully walk this path. If you elect me to be a Hennepin County Judge, I will listen respectfully to all positions and will follow the rule of law, uphold the state and federal constitutions and decide matters fairly and impartially.” ~ Paula Brummel
